THOROGOOD "SPECIAL MAKE" WORK BOOTS
First, to anwser your question - YES, we can customize a boot to your needs, but there are limitations to what the factory is willing to do. "Special Make" work boot orders ARE LIMITED TO producing unique size and/or width combinations for an existing domestic (Made In USA) work boot style available from TheUnionBootPro. Another limitation requires the factory to have the necessary resources (dies, lasts, inserts, etc.) to make the boots desired. FACTORY APPROVED: Style 814-4364 in a size 15 D (15 is not a size routinely carried in stock) FACTORY APPROVED: Style 804-4208 in a size 6 D (6 is not a size routinely carried in stock) FACTORY APPROVED: Style 814-4200 in a size 9.5 EEEE (EEEE is not a width routinely carried in stock) The factory WILL NOT make custom changes to leather, outsoles, eyelets, etc. - basically, it will not mix-and-match features or materials between existing domestic work boot styles. NOT APPROVED: Direct-Injected styles. NOT APPROVED: Style 814-4200 with the black outsole from style 814-4266 NOT APPROVED: Style 804-4203 with no hook eyelets NOT APPROVED: Style 804-4823 without the steel toe cap - - - - - - - - A special order request requires four to five weeks to complete. An additional fee of $60 is charged. Order must be placed by phone - call toll-free 1-800-723-5384. "Special Make" orders are non-refundable. So please call us with your custom boot order request. Your boots will be made to order in the USA, either in Merrill or Marshfield, Wisconsin, by the Weinbrenner Shoe Company.
