OPTIONS

SIZING OPTION 1: Check Your Closet (or truck)

If unsure about what to order, this is always the best place to start. The work boot size and width you have worn in the past is always a good indicator of the what you should order at THE BOOT PROS. Using this recomendation, 88% customers get a good fit on the first try.

Boots and shoes made in America have a tendency to be more "generous" in size than athletic style boots and shoes we have gotten use to over the last couple decades. If you wear a size 11 NikeĀ® athletic shoe than you probably should try a size 10.5 American Made boot or shoe.

SIZING OPTION 2: Measure Your Feet

Your feet change during your lifetime. To make sure that you get the best possible fit we suggest you follow the simple sizing directions below to help you select your size and width. The measurements used are industry standards.
  1. Place a piece of blank paper on a hard floor.
  2. Stand on the paper wearing a sock of medium thickness.
  3. Holding a pencil vertically (90º), place a mark at the end of your heel.
  4. Place another mark at the tip of your longest toe
  5. To find your size, measure the heel-to-toe mark and use the inch-to-size table. For example, if you are a man and your foot measures 10 1/4" long, you will wear a U.S. size 9 shoe.
  6. If your measurements are between two sizes, or you find one foot's measurement larger than the other, always move up to the larger size.

FOOT FACTS

No two pair of feet are the same.
Your left foot and right foot are not the same size or width.
Your feet swell and get bigger during the average work day. What fits in the morning will not necessarily fit
the same when you get off work.
No two work boot brands are made the same...they can vary by one half size.
We all want our work boots to fit PERFECTLY. I know I do.
The average person takes 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day, which adds up to about 1,500 miles over a year.
The human foot contains 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles.

Finding perfect fitting work boots is a tricky thing and nearly impossible to absolutely guarantee...no matter how good
a "shoe salesman" you have.
